Goal

This site is to encourage discussion amongst free thinkers about societal issues of the World and Australia. The aim is to have a civil discussion based on arguments that find their strenght in facts and logical reasoning. A good discussion is not dominated by the narratives of main stream or social media fads, but by an openness to freely express your opinion supported by 'thinking out of the box' and common sense.

Values

The author of this site holds liberal values. Quoting from Wikipedia: "Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty, consent of the governed and equality before the law. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but they generally support free markets, free trade, limited government, individual rights (including civil rights and human rights), capitalism, democracy, secularism, gender equality, racial equality, internationalism, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion."
The opinions expressed on this site will be influenced by these principles, but won't necessary reflect the ideas of the present-day liberal politicians.
The term 'liberal' has evolved and especially in the USA has become an indicator of supporters of the Democrats. Also in Australia the LNP has drifted away from liberal principles. Against that backdrop the author prefers the term Libertarian. Libertarianism has many forms and perhaps conservative libertarian would best describe the authors values.

Free

The aim is to uncover political spin, propagandistic media narratives and derailed social conventions and promote freedom of speech in a polite civilised manner, through a free and open debate.

Status

The site was launched in April 2021 with the first topic of Vaccine Coercion. It has been a vehicle for open debate in a time of heavy censorship.
Second topic 'Climate Change' is recently launched. This topic will explore the basis of the populist 'Climate Change' narrative, the Greenhouse Effect.
This site will expand over time.
